Director Jason F. Gilbert graduated Summa Cum
Laude from Temple University where he majored in Film Production and
minored in Philosophy. His short films Sherman & The Kid, The Fifth Commandment and Tennis Movie have
been screened in International film festivals where they have won praise.
Jason shares a birthday, February 16th, with North Korean dictator Kim Jung Il. Mr. Gilbert hopes one day to follow in his footsteps and become a totalitarian ruler. As a despot his first order of business would most certainly be an invasion of Switzerland. Neutral, his ass.
The Coat Room marks Mr. Gilbert's Feature film debut. Despite public outcry and death threats from critics worldwide, his second feature Identity Burglars is due to be released in Fall 2009.
